Work in progress for my next project at UCLA. These are color comps and character designs for an animated music video for “Dead All Along” performed by the amazingly talented, Ceri Frost. This is a terrific song by Ceri.
Logline: Peekle the faun, a mystical animal link to nature, realizes that he and nature are dead to mankind.
The death spoken of in the song is the death of man’s reverence for nature. At one time, man recognized that animals represented a mystical link to nature and the divine. Peekle is a spirit animal or totem animal who linked man with nature and the divine, and facilitated man’s communion with nature and the divine. Now, man no longer sees the spirit animals and has forgotten how to commune with them. Peekle is therefore dead to men, and nature and the divine are lost to us. The words and music of nature no longer inspire men.
Mr. Chip Marooned is now listed on the jayisgames flash game review site. Mr. Chip was included in the ‘Friday Link Dump’ and described as “A short point and click adventure that rains on a beautiful audio/visual atmosphere like… well, like rain!”

‘Mr. Chip Marooned’ was created at the UCLA Animation Workshop by Giles Timms, in collaboration with the Welsh composer, Ceri Frost. The game is a point and click style mini puzzle. The object of the game is to help Mr. Chip find a way off the remote island. Both music tracks in the game are by Ceri Frost.
Above is a still image from my mini Flash game “Marooned.” This is a point and click style game. The object of the game is to help Mr. Chip find a way off the remote island. Click on the above image to play the game.
Both music tracks in the game are by the brilliant Welsh composer Ceri Frost who I was really fortunate to be able to work with again on this project. Ceri’s music is the inspiration for this mini-game.
‘Marooned’ was created at the UCLA Animation Workshop and was made with Photoshop and Flash. This is my first flash game :)
More Dream animation stills from scene two of my short film. This is from the latest render of my loose narrative, music video/short film that I have been working on at UCLA this quarter. The music is by the amazingly talented Welsh composer Ceri Frost.
This film is a combination of TVPaint, Flash, hand drawn, hand painted, and Photoshop elements put together in After Effects. This film is almost finished and should be complete before January :)
