‘Dead All Along’, my recent animated music video, is featured on Juxtapoz over at their blog: http://www.juxtapoz.com/Current/edward-gorey-inspired-music-video-for-dead-all-along.
I’m really happy to be on Juxtapoz as I’m a huge fan of their art and culture themed magazine and admire many of the artists they feature :)
‘Dead All Along’ is an Edward Gorey inspired animated music video performed by the talented Ceri Frost.
Big thank you to Katie Zupann and the rest of the crew at Juxtapoz.

‘Dead All Along,’ is an animated music video set in my version of on an Edward Gorey world. Cartoon Brew is an amazing site that probably doesn’t need an introduction, but it’s chock full of talent and inspiration of the animation kind.
Another big thank you to Jerry Beck!

I’ve activated Gravatar support for CHOBLE.
The Gravatar plugin was supported with the Blix theme so all the hard work was already done for me, though I did change the default settings.
Basically, Gravatar allows you to upload an image or avatar to gravatar.com and then associate an email address with the uploaded image. Then, when you supply your email address in the comment form on someone’s blog, the Gravatar plugin automatically retrieves your avatar and you see a gravatar.
If you’d like to see a gravatar next to your comments on CHOBLE, simply visit www.gravatar.com and upload an 80 x 80 pixel image. Once your gravatar (it takes about a day) has been rated, your gravatar will be displayed next to all of your comments.
Here’s my gravatar image that I created in Illustrator and Photoshop. It’s a combination of a vector image overlaid on top of a painting that I posted in Welcome to the New CHOBLE.
Go make a gravatar!
It took me a while, but I finally moved CHOBLE.
To commemorate the new home and look of CHOBLE I created a shiny new header image. I darkened the final header image a bit, though the original can be seen above. The header was created with acrylic, gouache and Sakura pens and is 71/2″ x 2″.
I decided to paint the header as I have always been inspired by Ron Russell’s gorgeous blog header that has a wonderful hand-drawn quality to it. To view Ron’s blog header and his excellent artwork go to ronji.blogspot.com.
The figure to the left, in the new header, is CHOBLE (I think). He was derived from the sketchbook drawing seen below.
Also, I still haven’t properly finished the move over from blogger so this site will continue to be updated (and I’ll add links!)
