I’ve been busy with college applications so I thought I would post something old.
My Dad has always drawn and when we used to go on family holidays my Dad and I would sometimes draw together. The top drawing is my dad’s drawing of Dorsington Manor and the second drawing is my version. I think I drew this when I was 11 or 12 years old. Anyway, my dad and I sat on the lawn together with our rapidiographs and sketchbooks and drew the manor. I loved to draw with my Dad and always tried to copy his meticulous style (with varying results).
The photo on the bottom left is the manor and the photo on the bottom right is me as a kid painting.
Both great, really detailed sketches you and your Dad done.

Red hair? I had no idea! Your drawings are so good–both yours and your dads. I can’t believe you were 12 when you did that!
Ok, I don’t like your code validation anymore–it’s taken me 5 tries to get it right. It kept giving me zeros and/or Os.
holy cow – you did that when you were 12?! i’m floored. wonderful detail – i know that must’ve required lots of patience – something i myself did not have at 12.

It’s really bizarre to see this site. My family have lived in Dorsington Manor for 16 years, I grew up here. I was just wondering, when did you and your dad visit? We live in quite an obscure area really, I’m just interested how someone in the U.S knows this place? Thanks
